Final environment project, using a movie genre and splicing on top another genre. I did film noir and fantasy/horror.

The city is situated on a cliff and has nine interconnected "levels", or ledges, loosely based on the nine levels of hell in Dante's Inferno. Their main mode of transportation are flying machines that kind of look like dragons and also loosely based on da Vinci's flying machine sketches.

    I absolutely LOVE THIS. Looks like sample pages from an artbook (which I would buy) for an anime-fusion film set in an alternate version of the Italian Renaissance (which I would also buy). Beautiful!!
